Everest Base Camp tour consists of two parts. The first part of the trip begins with excursion in Lhasa, visiting the Potala palace, Jokhang, Sera and Drepung Monasteries. After Lhasa we drive to Tingri via Gyantse, Shigatse and Sakya, visiting all the popular monasteries along the way. The second part of the trip will be the Mt. Everest Base Camp Trekking from Tingri on the friendship Highway; it is relatively easy to entrance. The trekking route is not particularly strenuous- only one low pass must be crossed. Near the Everest Base Camp is the reconstructed monastery of Rongbuk, once one of the largest monastic complexes in the Tibet region. The view from here of the Everest North face, perhaps is the most spectacular of tall its sides, is memorable for your lifetime experience.

Everest Base Camp Overland Tour Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 01. Arrive at Kathmandu Airport:
You will be met by our airport representative and transfer to hotel and a short brief about Tibet tour after refreshment.

Day 02. Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu :
Kathmndu Valley sightseeing tour including Kathmandu durbar square, Patan durbr square, Baudhnath Stupa, Swayabhu Nath, Pashupatinath Temple and Preparation for Tibet tour.

Day 03. Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa:
Pick you up from the Lhasa Gonggar airport by our representative and drive to Lhasa.

Day 04. Sightseeing tour in Lhasa:
In the morning visit Drepung Monastery and afternoon visit the Jokhang Temple.

Day 05. Sightseeing tour in Lhasa:
In the morning visit the Potala Palace and afternoon visit the Sera Monastery & Norbulingka (Summer Palace).

Day 06. Lhsa to Gyantse:
Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse and first photo sport, Khambala pass 4975m from where you will have wonderful view of Yamdoktso Lake and Mt.Nyicheng Gangsang.

Day 07. Gyantse to Shigatse:
Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse, you will visit the Palcho Monastery and Kubum stupa before you leave.

Day 08. Shigatse to Xegar:
Drive from Shigatse to Xegar (New Tingri), Stop for lunch at Lhatse and keep drive towards Xegar, Before Xegar 40km also you will have spectacular view of Mt. Everest, But it is depends on the weather condition.

Day 09. Xegar to EBC:
Drive or hike from Xegar to Everest Base Camp and hiking around.

Day 10. Drive from Everest Base Camp to Nyalam.

Day 11. Drive from Nyalam – Zhangmu – Kathmandu.
