Ganden Samye is easy and cultural trekking route in Tibet. Ganden Monastery is 45 km east of Lhasa. It was first built in 1409, around 10 buildings have been restored, and the monastery looks wonderful with barley fields extensive the valley floor, which is dotted with small villages. You need to walk 4 days from the Ganden to Samye. This is one of the finest soft treks in central Tibet. You can experience Tibetan culture as you walk in the high altitude place. You will get chance to explore Tsedang and the tombs of the Tibetan Yarlung Kings, and the city of Lhasa and its related monasteries and palaces.

Ganden Samye Trekking Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 01. Arrive at Kathmandu Airport:
You will be met by our airport representative and transfer to hotel and a short brief about Tibet tour after refreshment.

Day 02. Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu:
Kathmndu Valley sightseeing tour including Kathmandu durbar square, Patan durbr square, Baudhnath Stupa, Swayabhu Nath, Pashupatinath Temple and Preparation for Shalu Trekking.

Day 03. Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa:
Pick you up from the Lhasa Gonggar airport by our representative and drive to Tsetang.

Day 04. Sightseeing tour around Lhasa city.

Day 05. Sightseeing tour around Lhasa city.

Day 06. Free day at Lhasa and Shopping.

Day 07. Drive from Lhasa to Ganden. Overnight at Camp.

Day 08. Trekking from Ganden to Hebu Nomad Camp 7hrs. Overnight Camp

Day 09. Trekking from Hebu Nomad camp to around Shugula Pass 8hrs. Overnight Camp

Day 10. Trekking from Shugula pass to Under Chutula Pass 7hrs. Overnight Camp

Day 11. Trekking from Chutula pass to Yamalung Valley and by local transport to Samye Monastery.

Day 12. Drive from Samye Monastery to Chimpu and trekking to Heburi.

Day 13. Drive fom Samye to Tsethang via Yambulakhang.

Day 14. Drive from Lhasa to Gonggar Airport and fly back to Kathmandu.
