Mount Kailash Trekking Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 01. Arrive at Kathmandu Airport:
You will be met by our airport representative and transfer to hotel and a short brief about Tibet tour after refreshment.

Day 02. Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu:
Kathmndu Valley sightseeing tour including Kathmandu durbar square, Patan durbr square, Baudhnath Stupa, Swayabhu Nath, Pashupatinath Temple and Preparation for Mount Kailash Trekking.

Day 03. Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa:
Pick you up from the Lhasa Gonggar airport by our representative and drive to Lhasa.

Day 04. Sightseeing Tour in Lhasa.

Day 05. Sightseeing Tour in Lhasa.

Day 06. Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse, visit Yamdrok Lake and Palkor monastery.

Day 07. Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse.

Day 08. Drive from Shigatse to Latse.

Day 09. Drive from Latse to Saga, a whole day’s driving, about 300km.

Day 10. Saga to Paryang:
Drive from Saga to Paryang, (260km) will take us to Paryang in the heart of western Tibet, where the four great rivers of South Asia diverge from their glacial sources around Mount Kailash.

Day 11. Paryang to Darchen:
Drive from Paryang to Darchen, (4575 meters) is the starting and completion point for the general circuit of the sacred mountain.

Day 12. Trekking around Kailash. Overnight at Camp

Day 13. Manasarovar Lake:
We will take a walk up to the Chiu Monastery, located atop a cliff, to enjoy the spectacular view of the lake. Overnight at Camp

Day 14. Darchen to Tsada:
Drive from Darchen to Tsada, The road to Tsada is horrible, and go over some very high passes, taking a whole day. We will spend a day driving to Zhanda. We will explore another day in the area to visit the ruins of the Guge Kingdom, which ruled western Tibet 300 years ago.

Day 15. Drive from Tsada to Lhasa, We will return to Lhasa by retracing the original route we took.

Day 16. Drive from Lhasa to Gonggar Airport and fly back to Kathmandu.
