And your tour will start as an according to our tour itineraries then you will make trekking and explore to the most sacred palaces and monasteries of Lhasa such as the Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Norbulingka (the Dalai Lama's Summer Palace) before proceeding overland to Gyantse, Shigatse, Shalu Monastery, Sakya Monastery, Mt. Everest, Tingri and Zhangmu. Main theme of this trekking to have a spectacular view of Everest Base Camp and visit some of the very historical monuments in Tibet.

Mount Everest is located in Xegar County and it is the highest peak on earth with an altitude of 8848m. It is 620km far an away from Lhasa and it takes one and a half days to get there. Rongbuk Monastery is the very beautiful as well as it is highest monastery in the world, 5000m above the sea level and from there you can get expectacular views of Mt. Everest. You can walk the 8km from Rongbuk to Everest Base camp.

Everest Base Camp trekking itinerary is 7-8 days walking from Old Tingri to all the way to Rongbuk Monastery and including the Everest Base Camp and come back to Tingri. On this trekking route you will enjoy the dramatic view of Mt. Choyu and Mt.Everest as clearly as very near to you.
